After nearly four years as an articulatory outlaw, GUD has finally decided to conform to the ruling of the International Phonetic Association and change its pronunciation to that required by its appearance, as understood by readers of the International Phonetic Alphabet: /gud/.

We've got some great contributions on the shortlist for Issue 7, but we're looking for more, to round it out and make it the best issue we can. We want anything GUD, of course, but one thing that's especially on our wishlist is a little more cultural variety.
