Issue 6 (cover)

Just a quick update to let you know that GUD Magazine Issue 6 is getting some attention out there.

Issue 6 has been reviewed by Cate Gardner over at Skull Salad and by Frank Dutkiewicz at Rise Reviews.

Both reviewers chose Ferrett Steinmetz's In the Garden of Rust and Salt for their stand-out piece in #6. It's also a runaway best-seller as a singleton. Ferrett Steinmetz is eligible for the John W. Campbell Award for Best New Writer this year, as is GUD stalwart Shweta Narayan.

We look forward to seeing more reviews of Issue 6 in the future. If you're interested in reviewing a copy, please let us know.

As the reviewer at "Rise Review", I found Mr Steinmetz's piece not only delightful but worthy of a Hugo nomination. I have reviewed a good number of stories this year for Diabolical Plots, Tangent Online, and RR. "In the Garden of Rust and Salt" is in my top five. I have read only one I consider better.

An outstanding heart-tugger.
