Jim Pascual Agustin was born in the Philippines. His early years were spent in a communal house, where he struggled to remember all the names of his numerous cousins. Fr. James O'Brien, an Irish-American Jesuit, opened up the world of literature for Jim. Beneath an Angry Star (1992, Anvil) was his first book of poetry. In October 1994, he moved to Cape Town, South Africa. He welcomes feedback on his writings. Email Jim at">
